Hi Family!
This week was a bit slower than normal but all is well otherwise. Both Sister Fitzgerald and I have been on and off sick. I think I just have literally the worst allergies. Ugggg!!!!
This week we had exchanges again! I went out with Sister Jacobsen in my area and it was great! Well the day started off terribly because every single one of our appointments canceled that morning. I was super worried because its the last part of summer and everyone is currently going on their last minute vacations before school starts up again. Anyway, we ended up doing tons of less active stop bys and met some people we had never seen before! They weren't all too friendly, but at least we now know where they stand. Another one of the less actives is a 10 year old little girl named Dakoda whom I only met once before. Her aunt and grandmother are members but her mother isn't really into being religious so shes not very supportive of Dakoda. Either way, we had been stopping by forever but we never came at the right time until our day of exchanges. We ended up talking to Dakoda and were going to start seeing her more because she knows very little about the church still it seems.
What else... ohh transfers are this Wednesday and I know (as of last night) that I am not getting transferred and neither is Sister Fitzgerald. Its funny because they dont tell us these things until late Sunday night. So at church on Sunday I was running around getting pictures and giving everyone hugs...or just had shakes, because I wasn't sure if I was leaving. Especially because I can't try to predict President Brown because its our first transfer with hi,. Rumor has it almost every Kirtland zone sister is changing. I don't know if I believe that one... We shall see!
I am super boring this week and I don't have much more to share. But I can always share my testimony :) I know that Heavenly Father knows each and everyone of His children. He has a reason for everything. When all my appointments canceled but we ended up finding some of the long lost less actives-- that was Heavenly Father saying He had something else in mind. I am sooooo grateful to be serving!!!!! Its been the most challenging experience but all the more worth it! I feel like I understood so little and coming out here has helped me understand and find the truth for myself. The church is true and our Heavenly Father will never stop loving us and providing ways to get back to him! I LOVE Y'ALL!!!!!
Love,
Sister Call
