(Sorry this letter is crazy unorganized, like my brain.)
I have two P Days (preparation days) this week because I move to a different schedule on Wednesday. My new P-Day is Friday so I'll get to email you then too! I'll send you my flight details and also I have a calling card so stay close to the phone on the 18th :)
Starting on Wednesday I have visitor center training. I get to go to Temple Square on Wednesday morning. Wait...that's tomorrow! Wow that's soon! And then on Saturday I think I go again. I've heard there are twelve other sisters going to visitor centers in the MTC right now.
Oh and in my District, I forgot to tell you that the boys from my District are all going to Winnipeg Canada, Roseville, California and the Australian is going to the Salt Lake City East Mission. No Elders in Ohio -- at least none that I've met.
Ahhhh...I have so much to tell you! Sorry my brain is everywhere! When I'm training next week for the visitors center, I get to chat with REAL PEOPLE online through Mormon.org. :)))))and the real work begins!
Devotionals are awesome here! So far we've only had former members of the Seventy, but still their talks are like gold!
Ahhhh....the MTC is just so great! I've learned so much about how to understand people and reach people at levels I had never been able to reach before. Infact, Lawanna, the girl I was practice teaching over Skype, I just heard that she wasn't even a member. She started out being really tough to teach but then we found a soft spot. She can't read well. Both my companion and I have reading challenges. I had a prompting to talk about how I learned to read through the Book of Mormon. I told her it was never easy but ever since reading the Baok of Mormon I have gotten so much better. She started to cry. She said no one had ever understood before in any of her lessons she had taken. Wow -- the spirit was just so strong! She actually tried to meet my companion and me but she's sick with cancer at the moment so it didn't happen. Wow, what an experience! Even if she really is a member, I think we made a huge impact in her life.
I don't have much more time to write and I want to send you pics so I'm sorry!
Oh, also one more thing that I guess is kinda cool. I am the new missionary leader. That's my title but I'm the "District Leader" basically. Im' just fancy. :) And Brother Smith who is in my Branch Presidency is the conductor for BYU's jazz band and he told me that I should sing with them and go on tour with them in Israel and some other cool place when I get back. He doesn't even know if I'm good. He always is telling me about my smile. He said that any Mission President would trade 10 elders to have a sister like me. That was seconds after I met him. I thought that was so sweet!
I love you guys so much!!!! And I miss ya'll so much!!!!
