Hi hi family!
I am now serving in Euclid!!! Its funny because its literally right on the boarder of the Shaker Heights area and we have church in the same building.
The ward is great! In fact the first day in the area I got to go to the ward Halloween party and meet everyone. They are very much involved with the missionaries and they actually feed us here! Yippeee!!! And my companion Sister Janairo is the best!!! (You pronounce the J like an H) She is originally from the Philippines but moved to Hawaii when she was 11. She also is the only member in her family. She had a friend who was LDS who introduced her to the church and she got baptized when she was 15. She is stellar!!! And so fun :) On top of all that she is a hard worker! We don't have any progressing investigators but we have been taking a lot of time each day we are in our area finding. And we have been dropping those who are wasting our time. But with all the finding we have found several potentials so we will see how those go. Also we share the same area as Sister Berry and Sister Stone so its a blast! And we all live together in the Hyrum home that is right across from the temple.
Its so weird serving at the Visitors center again. My memory of the tour is a little rusty but its getting better. We actually have already served at the site 2 days this week and will be there again this Sunday. Ah! Not being in the area drives me a little crazy especially when its so slow. Hopefully with the upcoming holidays it will pick up again. They have actually started setting up nativities which is kinda crazy. I can't believe its already November. I feel like I am still a brand new missionary but I am one of the oldest here now. Gross!!! I want to stay on my mission forever!
Oh before I forget, normally my preparation days will be on Tuesdays, but they had us sub for some sisters at the sites yesterday.
I feel like I have so much to tell y'all but I can't think of anything at the moment. Ah man. Well I will talk to y'all net week! Hope all is doing well at home! And maybe y'all could help the missionaries find some people to teach so the ward can grow :) hehe
I LOVE Y'ALL!!! The church is true!
Love,
Sister Katie Call
